68K Macintoshes
A minimal hardware configuration for running Boxer is System 7.0 or newer,
8 mb memory (12 mb recommended) running on a 68030 or newer processor
Mac LCIII, ci, si, etc. All Quadras (68040 machines) with sufficient memory
work well. (Notes for older machines: You need to use 32 bit memory mode
to run Boxer. System versions 7.5 and newer always use 32 bit mode. Very
old machines like SE/30 using older systems may need a free extension,
Mode32 or equivalent, to run in 32 bit mode. 68030 machines without FPU
are not recommended as they will run graphics and math calculations very
slowly.)
Power Macintoshes
Minimal recommended configuration for Power Macs, using the native
PowerPC Boxer, is 16 mb memory (24 recommended).
